Apparently Mtn Dew is trying to appeal to a slightly classier audience, a classier group that for some reason would still drink Mtn Dew, by introducing Mtn Dew Black Label.

Mt Dew is one of the most popular soft drinks consumed in the United States, and like other soda brands they occasionally try to branch out with different flavors and varieties. Now they are introducing Mtn Dew Black Label, a classier option than their other varieties like Code Red and Baja Blast, but still Mtn Dew. To make sure they reach these more refined palates the soda is currently only available at select colleges and universities. At least we’ll find out pretty quickly if it works well as a mixer. Bring out the Mtn Dew Black Label cocktails!

Unlike other varieties of Mtn Dew, Black Label is made with sugar instead of the standard high fructose corn syrup and it’s said to have a dark berry flavor with herbal bitters, whatever that means. The other ingredients are really the same chemical crap that generally fill sodas like Mtn Dew, but hey, real sugar, that’s… something. While we can’t comment on the taste we
