"Diwali is just a week away and most of you would be busy preparing various Diwali Sweets. Jalebi is everybody's favourite sweet on any special occasion, be it a birthday, wedding or a festival. Maria Goretti, in her celebrity webchef corner, brings you the yummy recipe of hot jalebis with a unique taste that lingers for hours after you have tasted them. So enjoy this Diwali with some yummy home-made jalebis.

Ingredients to be used in Jalebi preparation are:
To Prepare Syrup
1) Sugar 1 and 1/2 cup
2) Lime 1/2
3) Kesar
For Preparing Batter
1) All Purpose Flour 1/2 cup
2) Gram Flour /Besan 2 tbsp
3) Corn Flour 1 tbsp
4) Dahi 12 tbsp
5) Fruit Salt 1 tbsp
Follow the given Method to enjoy hot jalebis:
1) Prepare the sugar syrup on low flame. Add few strands of kesar to it.
2) Prepare the batter by mixing 1/2 cup of Maida, 2 tbsp of gram flour /Besan, 1 tbsp of corn flour, 12 tbsp of dahi and 1 tbsp of fruit Salt. Leave it for 30 seconds
3) Prepare jalebis by putting the batter in an icy bag
