A video posted to Facebook has a discussion raging about the identity of a possible salmon-poaching predator.
Bear, bird or something else entirely?
Such is the discussion that erupted in regards to a seven-second video posted to Facebook by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
In the video, a salmon swims through Icicle Creek in Leavenworth, Washington at a more or less medium pace.
The soon-to-be-frightened fish flits off camera but immediately returns with surprise. There’s a lot of turbulent activity, and when the water clears a mysterious creature is seen looming above.
But the footage is fuzzy, and the identity of the assailant is tough to make out.
Most say it's a bear.
One commenter says it's a bird of prey.
Another swears it must be bigfoot.
Whatever it was must have ma
