In a tense 1986 Australasia Cup final against India, Javed Miandad put vital runs with tail-enders and with four runs required off the last ball, he smashed a six, which perhaps became the most celebrated shot in cricket history of Pakistan – unfortunate for Indian bowler Cheetan Sharma, who was at the receiving end. The victory perhaps started Pakistan’s dominance against traditional rival India in years to come.
