After winning the 2014 World Cup with Germany, midfielder and Arsenal player Mesut Ozil decided to give his $400k winnings to some Brazilian children in need of surgery. On a similar note, the Argentina squad donated $135k of their world cup winnings to a cancer hospital in Buenos Aires.
