In this episode, master mixologist Andy Seymour visits Mayahuel, a New York City bar who's specialty is tequila, mezcal, and all things agave. The Goddess of Mezcal, Misty Kalkofen, shows him the ins and outs of a drink that looks like coffee, tastes like coffee, but is actually mixture of spirits that delight the senses.

Misty explains the difference between mezcal and tequila and discusses the long lineage and history behind the drinks available today. Then she digs into the steps of the "Pare de Sufrir" Cocktail, which means "Stop Suffering." Parts Pedro Jimenez sherry, Chichicapa mezcal, coffee liqueur, amaro liqueur, and aromatic bitters topped with granulated canela, or Mexican cinnamon, this espresso-flavored cocktail recipe is sure to get your night going.
